Rian Ryuuketsu, proclaimed Pictomancer
A peculiar girl hailing from Hingashi. Though she claims to be a famous artist, few have ever heard of her - a fact to which she seems to take an uncanny pride in. Even amongst her artistic peers, Rian's impossibly pretentious views on art make her difficult to see eye-to-eye with.
Despite her lack of strength and near nonexistent aptitude for magic, Rian has a particular fondness for magical weapons and artifacts, frequently disturbing the locals for a closer look upon their weapons or abilities.
Cheery to a fault, the girl tries to always greet others, even strangers, with a smile, although her oddly selective hearing and quirky mannerisms tend not to keep her company smiling back for long. She loves to be the center of attention, and thus Rian will frequently say or do odd things just to get a reaction out of folk. At times her actions can border on the sociopathic as she toils away for the recognition of all those around her.

Wet Paint
The painter's clothes drip with wet paint of various hues. Many more colors now long dried stain her dark clothes, and the scent of Far Eastern perfume is overpowered by the distinctive scent of paint. Touching her, or giving her leave to loiter around furniture may transfer some of these stains from one surface to another.
Familiar
A small, gangly creature of inky-blue coat can oft be seen scampering somewhere nearby Rian. Its topaz eyes, ever wide and staring, search unceasingly for ought it might covet. "Give me that, meow!" its shrill voice may hiss, should a shiny bauble catch its fancy.
Muse
The strangest things catch Rian's artistic interest. Though it is common to catch her sketching and painting in public, a layman would make little sense of her work. Her great labour is to capture emotion itself in her brushstrokes, and for this she will draw inspiration from the most peculiar of objects, incidents, and persons.
Disciple of Magic
For all her lack of conventional magical skill, Rian has a growing talent for Aetherhues magic and the creation of painted fascimiles. Emboldened by her love of literature, Rian harbors an adventurous spirit, and the persuit of magical mastery lends a convenient excuse to seek out dangerous situations and sneak her way into parties.
